Military Dining Out

Joe and I at the Military Dinning out.
Look how tough! Isn't Joe a babe.

The ROTC at the University of Utah (go Utes!) has a tradition every year which is the Military Dining Out. Joey got dressed up in his class A's. And the wives can dress up however we want. Fancy or not you see it all. You get an amazing dinner and they have entertainment the entire time. They have a grog bowl which each class has to add their own ingredients. Joe added blood for the Nurses! (not real blood!) They have points of orders that anyone can call out on someone. Once they do this the person has to defend himself/herself. If they can't they have to drink out of the grog. Poor Joe had to twice. Not a lot that he could have done to prevent it. We had a blast and are so grateful to be apart of the military.

President Hinckley

What an amazing man! I was so sad to hear that he had passed away. It seemed like he would always be around. I loved listening to him in conference and being inspired. I loved the love he had for his sweet wife how exciting they can finally be back together. I mark him as a hero in my book. He truly was an incredible prophet.

Snowshoeing

Jared and Chantel, Tai and Joe.
Eric who hated snowshoeing.
Tai, Jen, Eric, Scott, Chantel and Jared. Out with the fam.
Joe has gotten me to love the outdoors.

I have always liked the outdoors, but sense I met Joe he has introduced me to a whole new world. We enjoy hiking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, camping and mountain biking. It is so great to be out doing something we love together and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We have gone to so many great places that I never even had a clue that they existed.
