Ute's hat and big helper

Jax has become such a big helper to me lately. We teach him to always put his toys away and help us clean up. He is really good to help out. Especially being pregnant it has helped so much.
We bought some ottoman's for our front room that has storage in them. I put them in our front room and Jax immediately opened them and started grabbing toys form anywhere he can find and started putting them in it. He was so proud of himself. I am proud of him too. Way to go Jaxy.
Lately Jax is obsessed with daddy's Ute hat. He knows where daddy put's it and always asks to wear it. He is so proud of it too. We are working on the "go Ute's"! He is such a goof ball.

Allergies

We had Jax tested for allergies, and food allergies. Jax has always had a cough from the day he was born. The nurses in the hospital said it was just his lungs getting used to breathing real air. We also asked his pediatrician's and they always just blow it off.
Back in April he had an accute asthma attack that really scares us. Luckily his doc was right on top of things and we had to use the nebulizer machine with some steroids and he did great after a few days and has not had any problems sense.
He has had diharrea on and off sense Christmas and to us that just does not seem normal.
Again, asked his doctor and he is not worried about it cause he is gaining weight still. So he tells us to use acedophilis chewable tablets that will help him. Somedays Jax will take them. Other days he says "yuck" and spits the out and says "I do not want it". They make a huge difference though. It is nice not having to deal with diharrea all the time.
Joe and I decided that we wanted to see if he was allergic to milk or certain foods that maybe causing it. He drinks so much milk we thought he might be allergic or his body could not break it down. We figure that's what causes the diharrea cause he drinks so much.
His coughing and sneezing has gotten worse so we decided to get him into an allergist.
They did some testing and we found out that he does not have any allergies at all. And is not allergic to milk or any foods. We are so relieved.
He does however has asthma. His doc thinks that he will grow out of it. We are sure hopefully that he will.
In the meantime we will do an inhaler once a day for four weeks and take him back in to see if it has helped him.

Temple day for Taylor and Nate

We got to go through the temple with Taylor on Friday and Saturday with Nate. It was such a wonderful experience to be there.
Tays went through the bountiful temple (same one I went through too)! He was really excited after and said he really enjoyed it.
Nate went through the salt lake temple and it was totally packed! It was a great experience too!
I still can't believe these boys are old enough to be going through the temple and will be leaving for their missions in less than a month. Sure am proud of them! I know they will be wonderful missionaries.

Cherry Hill

We got a summer pass to cherry hill and so far it has been a blast. We go with a bunch of mom's (my friends) from our ward that have kids the same age. It has been so much fun we have loved it. This week we went three days in a row and have gotten some nice tans and had a blast.
Jax likes to steal random people's toys and hit and shove random people. It is honestly driving me crazy!! He does not listen to me for anything. It is very frustrating. I sure hope someday soon he quits this crap cause it is so annoying.
I am trying to enjoy summer as much as possible and spend lots time with Jax before baby brother comes.

He fell asleep before I had even gotten into the car and started it up.

Jax's cute friend Grayson shared his pizza with Jaxy.

Delicious.

Swinging over at the neighbors.

Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day. We were just so thrilled that Joe was home
We both followed him where ever he went! Joe probably was annoyed but was a good sport and did not say anything.
We went to dinner at our favorite station park in Farmington and tried to enjoy eating outside. Instead Jax decided he wanted to run around instead. We packed dinner up and went over to the fountain area where they have a park and let Jax play while we ate. It was a perfect evening spent with my boys.
Sunday we made breakfast for Joe and have him his presents. Joe seemed excited about them! Hopefully he liked them. We got to see Joe's parents and grandma for a few minutes. Due to jaxon's nap time it is hard to squeeze time in. We had dinner at my brother Brett's home and enjoyed a relaxing evening.

Best daddy

Jax is so lucky to have Joe as his daddy! Joe had to leave for army and business for work and has been gone for over two weeks. It has felt like an eternity!! Joe would climb a mountain at night so he could face time with us and see Jaxon. He is so sweet and Jax was so happy to see dad, also sad cause he misses dad so much!! We  sure appreciate having him around and spending time with him.

Two Year Wellness check

Jax's stats for two years old are:

Height - 35 inches tall. Puts him in the 63%
Weight  - a whopping 23.8 lbs. Go Jax. That puts him in the 5% - he is a light weight. Skinny little butt.
His head is 18 3/4 inches which puts him in the 22%.

I was really stressed about his weight cause he is so dang skinny. His doc reassured me that it is perfectly fine because he is consistent with it and is still continuing to progress forward. He also is really tall so that plays a factor in it too. He made me feel so much better. Especially with his weird eating habits. I am very grateful for a good doctor that is very understanding, and very helpful. Jax is very healthy otherwise than being super skinny.

I can't believe that may baby is two years old already. He sure is a busy body! Here is what he is up too so far.

He says so many words it is hard to keep track of it all. He will repeat anything you say to him which can sometime be bad. He has started saying words from the music on the radio and it is funny.

He loves pairplanes - "airplane's" and loves to watch them fly over our house.
He loves to say copters - which is "helicopters" he thinks they are the coolest.
He also loves to say torticycle which is "motorcycle" I love when he says it, it is darling.

He has started to say a few sentences at a time. He also says more words on a daily basis. I love that he can communicate with us and tell us a little more about what is going on with him or what he wants to do, or eat etc.

I love teaching him new stuff. words colors and numbers. He can count to 5, he says "12365"

I am getting ready to start doing colors and more numbers with him. He is a lot of fun right now. He does not listen to me for anything. But knows when he does something wrong he runs right to his time out spot and says, " I am sorry, mom I got it and will try and give you knuckles". One thing I have done is explain to him why he is on timeout and that we don't do that. I also say "you got it"? and Jax says" I got it mom" but really, I don't think he has a clue what he is saying. His doc told me to just be consistent and he will get it. So that it what we are doing.
