Baby Madden is 11 months old

My sweet baby boy turned 11 months old on Saturday! 

We are on the count towards one and it's breaking my heart! How on earth did this year go by so fast? 

He's been an absolute joy! Our little miracle has brought my more joy and love then I knew was possible. He's a mamma's boy and I love every second of it! 

He's such a happy, easy going kid. It sure makes it easier for me with his busy old brother. He adores Jax and gets so exited to see him. Jax can make him laugh harder than Joe and I can. It's so cute! 

Here is what Madden has been up too: 

He has taken a love for real food and does not love baby food as much.

Loves to spit it out at me and laugh!

Has the loudest grunt he does when he wants out, or is frustrated. 

Loves his blanket and binki.

Entertains himself with his toys.

Likes his brothers toys the most. (Drives Jax crazy)!

Crawls all over the place.

Stands against things and walks everywhere. 

Has the most beautiful sparkly blue eyes. 

Most adorable smile. 

Loves his bed. 

Is the happiest kid. 

Most adorable smile.

Hates riding in the car.

Jabbers all day long.

Has 8 teeth and getting more.

Says, mamma, dadda! And I swear he said Jax the other day!

Puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. Even a dead moth from church. Oh and a fly. I could have died! 

Hates to cuddle. 

Wears 12-18 month clothes. 

Loves little kids. 

Loves his big brother.

Loves to be outside. 

Almost can stand on his own. 

Wears size 4 diapers.

Poops like crazy! 
Drinks from a sippy really well.
He can stand on his own.

Love him sooooo much.

Madden has an erupting hematoma on his back molar. He is getting all four molars and his fang teeth all at the same time. Fun times I tell you what... poor thing.

The Zoo with friends.

We ventured out to the zoo today with Stacy and her two girls, Brighton an Harper. The new savannah safari just opened up and we just barley missed it when we went in June. 

It was a mad house! And soooooo blasted HOT! I hate sweating to death. The kids has fun asking the workers questions about the animals, watching the bird show, the elephant show, playing on the splash pad, checking out the sea otters and polar bear. We got to go on the train ride and that was definitely Jax's favorite. 

Stacy and I were sweating to death. It was nasty! Once we left the zoo had slowed way down. 

We got to go see Joe at work and trade him vehicles. We always have to drive by the salt lake temple and the tracks for Jax. He gets so excited it's so fun to see his reaction. Fun day with our favorite friends.

24th

Such a fun day spent with my family. The people that I love the most. 

My older brother Darin and his family are here visiting from Colorado. 

We had a BBQ at Bart and Jen's house. Jax loves going to their house. He smiles when we get close to their house. So much to do, and lots of cousins to entertain him.

Family 5k

Joe wanted to go for a run this morning to go see the horses and chickens with Jax. We all went and it was the perfect, most beautiful weather. It was not too hot either which is a bonus. 

Jax ran two miles with us. We were so proud of him he did great. 

We love where we live and get to enjoy the gorgeous views. I love being with my boys.

Girls night out!

Thank heavens for girls night out. It's the most wonderful thing we have started doing each month, or really whenever we need some friend time. 

We got to go out on Tuesday, we got fizz up for some yummy drinks! ( I am talking soda for us all)! We then went to the waffle wagon which is new in Davis County! Joe and I had tried it a few weeks ago and loved it. It is honestly so delicious. I could eat it everyday! 

Kristen is our fashionista friend and make-up smarty. I just got my eyebrows re shaped and am trying to figure it out. She was giving me a lesson inside of walgreens the other night. We has a little too much fun. I love these darling friends of mine so much. I am so lucky that I get to be their friends.

Scout camp

Joe and the priest  leaders, and our bishop are at scout camp this week. Roughing it is not even how they roll this year. Tubing down rivers, going to amusement parks, fun hikes!  I say no fair. I want to go! 

Today they are camping in tents for one night. Joe is nervous cause it's bear country. He's terrified of bears. He is kinda nervous but really hates admitting it! 

We are so anxious for him to be he already. Especially Jax. Jax asked me the other day, "momma, why does my dad keep leaving me?" Break your heart. Joe felt worse than I did. Poor Jax has had enough of his dad going away. I feel the same way buddy.
