Memorial Day

Yesterday was Memorial Day. We headed up to Brigham city to have a BBQ at my parents home and enjoy chatting and play some wiffle ball! Then headed up to see the graves at the cemetery! It always such a comfort to see my grandparents graves.  We did not make it out to tremonton to see my mom's parents. I love being able to see them and visit them. Always so fun to be with the family too.

Must buy, and try

I love urban outfitters. They truly have the best accessories! It's always my go to place for pillows, sheets, shower curtains!! Ect.... I am loving this pink tassel pillow. I want it and in the color stone. The Adidas shoes too have been on my list along with shirts and sweaters.

And lastly I want to get my eyelashes done. It would be so so nice to not have to worry about that anymore. I am getting my eyebrows done in July and can't wait..
I have been looking for a good face wash, I actually really want to try these wipes. I think they would be awesome.

Sunday quote

Today's Sunday quote is a good one. Keeps thing into perspective and always such a comfort and reminder.

Date night

We finally had a date night with Joe's BFF, we love Ryan and Natty and any chance we get to hang out with them we will. We met them at twigs and had a pretty good dinner. My salad was kinda gross. I knew I should have just stuck to the burger... But we had fun catching up! And can't wait to go out again.

Bubbles

Dad and the boys had a big bubble bath the other night after lots of yard work. The kids had a blast making beards and mustaches. Madden made his look like Santa clause and said "ho ho ho, merry Christmas"! These boys sure are lucky and have the best Daddy in the world.

Favorite thing Friday

Today's favorite thing Friday is seashells. Joe and I started collecting them when we lived in Washington back in 2010, and 2011. Then every beach we went too after that we started collecting them more. I thought it would be fun to display them and stick little tags on them to remember the year and what beach it was. I loved how it turned out. I thought it would be fun to display for summer and hope we can continue this tradition as my kids grow.

Things I am loving

I love Alex and ani bracelets.. Their new summer collection just came out and they all remind me of the ocean and I want to go back. These three are so cute..
Also loving this darling dress from Roolee... They are sold out of my size and I am dying... I hope they restock it. It's too die for...
And last, how cute is this black and white top? I am loving the ruffled sleeves. Looks perfect for summer.

Alex and Ani bracelets and wraps.

loving this dress from Roolee.

Peonies

I love peonies. I have been seeing them pop up all over social media. Today when we were at Trader Joe's I grabbed a bag and am so glad I did. As soon as I got them in the water the started to bloom. They remind me of Memorial Day! My parents have grown them in the yard for years and years. Every Memorial Day we would cut them down and put them on my grandparents graves. I am loving them with the blue mason jar and the plaid below it.

Hip follow up for Jaxon

We had Jax's hip follow up today at primary children's hospital. His x-Ray looked perfect and is exactly as it should be. The doc is very happy with it and checked Jax out by bending his legs and moving them around. Jax was so worried he was going to break his legs.. Dr. Stevens was so nice and was really patient with Jax. He showed me the x-rays from the first time he saw Jax when he was 9 months old. It's really so cool to see the comparison of each year until present. Joe and I are so thankful to our Heavenly Father's hand in placing us in Washington and being right where we needed to be at the time. Dr. Stevens said he wished he could take credit for the surgery cause it was done so well. What a relief. I am so thankful Jax can have a normal life. I am forever thankful for my Heavenly Father for being there for me at the hardest times and so grateful for all he does for us. We got the clear until he is 7 years old.

I can't get enough..

I have found a new obsession........ Big surprise there right? I love crocs. And I want a million more pairs.. I got the cute thong sandals in the mail, and am getting two more. Joe's gonna flip. But these have saved my back the last several days, and I love how comfy they are. They styles have honestly come such a long way and it just makes me so freaking happy.

Hard day for the Roni

Jax had a long day, had a lot going on... At the end of the night he had a major, major break down! He shoved his little brother into the fridge and was screaming his little heard off. After time-out he still was just not having it. He wanted Daddy who is out of town for work... And was beyond exhausted. Someday's are better than others.. And each new age bring lots of different challenges.
