Buddies

Madden and Jax have been playing so well together lately.. Madden follows him around and they really do well together. But they are also worst enemies too.. Jax is such a comfort to Madden and he is usually the one that can calm him down. 

Madden wakes up first thing in the morning and the first thing he asks for is "sassy"! They always give each other hugs.. There favorite thing to do together is watch a show and have some snacks. 

Women's house dress

I came across these darling house dresses for Mom's. They are for any size mom, and are perfect for just having a baby, to be comfortable. They have the softest material and I can't wait to get one.. I am all about comfy, and these are screaming my name.. Now onto the hard decision of which one to get?

Peaches

August is the best month for many reasons, but most of all for the yummy peaches that I get to devour. I got some Brigham City peaches today in Bountiful. They are not quite ready to be eaten, but within the next few days they will be. I had one that was super soft and o hurried and scarfed that down.. It was delicious.. Can't wait to have more. 

Fiddle leaf plants

I have been loving these fiddle leaf plants. They are absolutely gorgeous. I really want one for my front room. They are a little spendy. $150. But I think with my high walls, and vaulted ceilings that it would add a lot to the room.. Need to save my money and get one..

Savoring these moments

I am trying to soak in all I can of my baby boy. He is almost two years old and I am not ready for him to grow up. He is a mega stinker, and cries and screams most of the day. But he is hilarious when he is not crying. He is a teaser, has the funniest giggle and talks like crazy... He also has the best eyelashes I have ever seen. And his profile is sooo cute. I want to bite his little cheeks off.. 

My girls

We had the funnest night the other night going to dinner to celebrate Stacy's Birthday. We went to a new Mexican restaurant in Kayscille, called Orlando's. Me not being a huge Mexican food lover, it was actually really good. I would love to go back. And their Dr. Pepper was the best ever.. 

I am soooo thankful that we moved into this neighborhood. It has been the best thing. These girls are exactly what I need each and every day. My kids love their kids and they all play so well.. Most of the time, kids will be kids.. But their mom's I adore. 

Favorite thing Friday

Today's favorite thing Friday is this company called groovebook. So how it works is you upload 100 pictures all from your phone each month, it is $2.99 and you get a super cut book with pages you can rip out if needed. It is such a wonderful system that you can keep track of all the months and the years. And for such a killer price you can't go wrong. 

Naps are for the birds

If only my kids would realize how lucky they are that they can take a nap. I wish I could every single day.. Madden had other plans the other day.. He was screaming for Sassy to help him, I went in there to see what was going on and it about gave me a heart attack.. Come on Madds, knock it off. Stay out of the window..looks like I will be removing all chairs from his room. Little booger. 

The Temple with Nick

We got to go through the temple with Nick the other day. What a wonderful experience it is to go with them, Taylor, Nate and Jordan both got to be there and it was so fun to be there with them as well. Such good examples to my children and I am so thankful that I get to be their Aunt. Such good young men and I am beyond proud of them. 

The outfits

Jax gets pretty creative with his clothes. Usually it's Jammie's of some sort, then a super hero costume, a mask, and of course his favorite rain boots.. He has to be dying of heat. But never seems to let it get him down.. He is hilarious.. 

The sleeping spots for Madden

Lately at nap time Madden has gotten really creative. Instead of his bed, he sleeps all over his room. The best was when he was sleeping on his changing pad.. Oh this kid is awesome.

Today's favorite thing Friday

Today's favorite thing Friday is the cutest antler candle stick holder I found at home goods. It was love at first site.. I had to get it. Joe approved and loves it. It has been a fun center piece on our kitchen table.. I can't wait to find fun colored candle sticks to put in it. 

Moomer

Our Madden boy is the fiestyest little dude. He is also hilarious. His facial expressions are the best. Anytime I can capture them I do. The best is when he talks in his own language and we can't understand him. We love him to pieces.
