Baby lit Books

I came across these super cute books while scrolling through instagram. I happened to check them out on Amazon and noticed they were anywhere from $5-$10, ship free on amazon prime. They are such cute books. I had to of course get some girly books. I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

Remodel - basement

I love redecorating, it is my most favorite thing. I found some cute pillows that I really like, but need to wait and see what kind of couch I get before I make purchases. Just fun to get ideas you know, and waste time. HaHa!

Basement Demolition

We have talked about doing this particular project for years and year and the day has finally come. Joe started knocking this out. We are putting in a fireplace, and possibly some built-in shelves. Doing some ship-lap on the South wall and will be mounting the TV. Joe told me I could get a sectional as you can see our couches are peeling and look absolutely horrible. Knocking this out gives us 2.5 more feet. It will be really nice to have the extra room. Though I hate the mess of it, it will be so nice to have it all done with.

9 best pictures of 2016

We had a really good year, lots of fun trips, New York City with my cousins, New Port Beach with my little family, deciding and praying about having a baby. Getting pregnant, being so freaking sick, and finding out it's a girl. celebrating 11 years of marriage. Lots of home projects and lots more to come. We can't wait for 2017, and the arrival of our baby girl.

Baby at 23 weeks

Baby Scarlett is 23 weeks along, 11.3 inches, weighing in at 1.10lbs, the size of a grapefruit. She is really learning my voice, can hear me, other sounds outside of the womb, yesterday when I was vacuuming she was moving around a lot. Her cute face is fully developed. Her lungs start to produce a substance called surfactant which helps prep them so they can breathe outside of the womb. It is crazy that I am finally 23 weeks. It is definitely going a lot faster now than it did in the beginning. I am feeling pretty good most days, super tired, and don't have a ton of energy. Not craving really anything specific.

Christmas Day 2016

Christmas Day was magical. We woke up to a ton of snow which made it so fun, and so magical. The boys slept until 9 which surprised us. Joe went out to shovel, and I started making our traditional German pancakes, sausage, and bacon. The boys finally woke up and went outside to help Joe shovel, we let them open one gift before church which just so happened to be their new church clothes. They were not thrilled at all. We made them wait to open their gifts until we got home from church. They surprisingly did better than we expected them too. We had a great church meeting and are so thankful for our savior! After church we got home and let the kids go crazy. That they sure did. I loved hearing them open their gifts and screaming and squealing with excitement. The loved their gifts and I am so glad. We played for a bit at home before we headed to Grandma, and Grandpa G's house. We had a last minute panic about a gift for Jax that he has been talking about non stop. We ordered it off of amazon and thought we would tell Jax Santa had so many kids that wanted them he shipped them to us, I called my Mom and she went and found them for us and saved the day. She called Jax and told her Santa had left a gift for Jax at grandma's house, he could not find it in his bag, and knew Grandma would see Jax later. Seriously, so sweet of her. Jax of course was thrilled. Once we got there he got to open it and was really excited. As if we did not have enough lego's to begin with. We loved being able to spend time with family, and exchange gifts is the funnest. What a wonderful day celebrating our saviors birth, being with family and creating wonderful memories.

Christmas Eve night at home

After we leave the Jeppson's we come home to our house and we do Christmas Jammie's. This is one of my favorite Christmas traditions. The boys were really unimpressed with their jammie's and I had to force Jax to put them on for a picture. Madds is usually thrilled cause he loves jammie's. I love his reaction when he opened them. Joe and I always get them too and I love any excuse to get new pajamas. I love being comfy. Joe was super happy with his as well. The boys played the rest of the night with their legos. We did not watch the nativity movie. I was so pooped and was ready for bed.
