The Army Brothers. Ben, Joe and Jared.
Also army Men! Dad (Rick) included.

Joey and his parents. Rick and Jeannette.
Joey with my Parents. Reid and Sherry.

Joe Commissioned into the United States Army on Thursday May 7th 2009. It was one of the coolest thing I have ever been too. It was so neat that Jared, Joe's older brother was able to swear him in. And Ben, also an older brother was able to do the first salute. I was able to pin his bars on and give him the first kiss as a Lieutenant. I am so proud of my man. He has worked so hard to get to this point. Joe will continue in the Utah National Guard as a Medical Service core Officer. And will continue his Officer training next March of 2010 tell June 2010. I am not liking that he has to be gone for four months. Especially in Oklahoma City! It will be a long four months. (I do get to fly out there when Joe has weekend's off). But better for us in the future, and better pay from the Military. Way to go Lieutenant Jeppson. Also a big thanks to Ben for flying in from Kentucky. We love you Benny!

Video to come. We are having some difficulties getting it to post. It is really cool to see. Stay tuned.

St. George In One Day!

We went to St. George after Joe's graduation to see this cute couple get married.
Isn't the St. George temple so beautiful and white? We thought it was very fitting with the American flag blowing in the wind. Our wonderful friend Ashley got married on Friday! we were so excited that we could be apart of Ashley and Kurtis day! Ashley was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. Joe and I really enjoyed spending some quality time together and what a better place to spend our day at the temple. We drove down in one day to St. George and back that night. I highly recommend not doing that. We had a great time. Congrats Ash and Kurtis.

Joe's Big Day!

My Joey graduated from the University of Utah on Thursday! with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. With a minor in military science. I can't even being to express how proud I am of him. Joe busted his butt taking on 20-25 credits each semester. I am so grateful for him and all of his accomplishments. Joe is my hero! Joe is the hardest worker I know. I am so thrilled for him to be done with school. We both let out big loud Yahoo's the second he was done. Joe called me right after his last final and we were cheering of course. He then said, " Tai, my brain still hurts"! Aww, Joey we are done! Yeah! I never thought this day would come. Congrats Joe Joe I am so proud of you.

My handsome Husband! Woot Woot!!
Joe also received his commission in the United States Army as a second Lieutenant. I will post the video and photos later. Congratulations Lieutenant Jeppson!(Joe told me I should refer to him as that from now on. dream on)!

Smoking!

Dear Cigarette Smoke! I hate you! I hate the way you make me want to gag when I walk by. Or having to hold my breath so I won't have to breathe in your second hand smoke. I really am so tired of having to smell this everywhere I go. I had today off of work so I thought I will enjoy being home, cleaning, opening the windows for fresh air. But apparently that is impossible around here. I am scrubbing our shower and what do I smell? I want to scream. I am guessing our neighbors all smoke when we are gone during the day. I can't figure how this smell gets into our house. (When of course our windows are not open). I call the managers at our apartment complex and let them have an ear full of what I think. And how stupid they are to allow cigarette smoke 25 feet from the building. My butt! they are smoking in their apartments. We pay a freaking Mortgage payment to live in these apartments. We should have the right to be able to breathe fresh air right? I am fed up. Why do we have to keep putting up with someones bad habit. I am pissed off. I have had enough of this stupid smell. I really hope that I don't offend anyone. But I have had more than my fair share living in this apartment. If anyone has an advice, or if you have dealt with this before, please drop your ideas our way.
