Glasses Suck!

Glasses suck! I really do hate them. I went to my eye doc the other day and he told me that I have some serious problems with my right eye. I have been having horrible eye pains that lead to migraines, nausea and so on... They are the worst headaches I have ever had in my life. I had one in particular on New Years Day! which resulted in sobbing tears. Poor Joe was not quite sure what to do. I then decided that I needed to go and find out what was going on. The Doc told me that my right eye is not producing tears at all, and also that my oil glands are completely dry. It is chronic dry eye.. which also leads to the hellish headaches. He ran a bunch a test and said... that "we have a few medications that we can try.... " If that does not work then we try a more serious approach. He took my contacts away. Which I was really not to happy about. I have to start all over and see if it will even be possible that I get to wear contacts again. So as to why I don't care for glasses. They make me look awful. Plus they always get in the way. They fog up when you go outside and its cold. Any little mark and you can't see a thing. I had to go and get some new ones. Joe picked these out..... I guess that the best part of getting glasses is my new cute glasses case. I go back in two weeks... pray that I don't need surgery.

So long BOB!

Dec 20, 2006 - Jan 21, 2009

Our little Beta fish BOB passed away on Wednesday the 21st. Joe came home from School and went to feed Bob and he was not moving. Doing his usual "bobbing" at the top for his food. (That is where we got his name BOB from). We have had Bob for over TWO years and never thought he would last this long. Joe got Bob as a secret Santa gift from his work... I was not to excited about the whole idea.. But I was the one who loved having him. Yes it is probably lame to post about your fish dying.. But we really liked having him and are actually kinda of sad that he died. This Picture was taken a few days before he died. He loved to lay on top of the floating flowers.

Ringing in the New Year!

Even Little Brigham can play the WII. He would only let Bannin help him.
We rang in the New Year at my OLDEST brother Brett and Kristi's house. It has been tradition for the last two years! we always have a blast. This year everyone on my side of the family got Wii's for Christmas except for Joe and I. (maybe for graduation?!!!!) Anyways, we had a little competition and I bowled a 169 and lost on the first round. Bridget beat me by a few points and I ended up watching and taking pictures. We ate lots of yummy food... played games, Joe, Kristi, Bridget and Tia put a monster puzzle together that took them tell 2:00AM to finish! We had a great time. Thanks for hanging out with us.
We are so excited to see what this year has in store for us.... We are really looking forward to Joey's graduation... Commissioning as a second lieutenant in the military. Maybe a possible trip to Hawaii for Joe working so hard. Interview's for Med School we hope so keep your fingers crossed... and if we get in for sure moving out of STATE. We hope you all had a happy New Year! we wish you the best in 2009!
