It Happened Again!

CREDIT CARD FRAUD!

HONESTLY, What is wrong with people in the sick world in which we live? I can't believe how dishonest people really are. I am so sick about our card being compromised AGAIN! It happened with our debit card and our bank was so great to catch it within a few hours. I am so glad I caught this one this time. I am a little disappointed that they didn't catch it. I am very OCD when it comes to our bank accounts. I check them all about five times a day! we have our normal bank here, then we are with USAA, which is for Military families and its so great. I was double checking something and felt that I really should check our credit card. WOW! I am so glad that I did and caught it in time. I hurried and called them and they put an alert on it and cancelled the card. I called Joe to double check to see if by chance he had used our card, Joe didn't recognize any of the purchases. So I quickly called back and got it all taken care of. I am so glad we get our money back. I found out that the purchase was from Overstock.com. She told me that this happens from Overstock.com all of the time. She said ours was nothing compared to what she sees. She said she has seen a purchase for $13,000.00 which luckily it didn't go through. I asked her how does this happen, and she said it can happen on anything that you buy, paying a bill online, shopping, eating out, hacking computers. Which really makes me feel bad, and so violated that it has happened twice! Seriously I just don't understand people. So my advice to you is.... what your accounts all of them, and that sad thing is you have to buy stuff to survive and some idiot has to be dishonest and cause such a freaking mess.

Governor's Day!

Singing of the National Anthem.
This is part of Joe's unit, the 211th aviation. The other half is deployed to Kuwait
Today was Governor's day. This has been tradition since the Civil War. The Commander in Chief inspects his troops.
The troops Saluting Governor Huntsman as he walks by to inspect the soldiers
Joe and I after the ceremony.

Today was Governor's day. This is held every September, but usually it is held at camp William's. Today it was at the University of Utah. This is the first time that I have attended. It was really neat to see all of the National Guard units, and the Air Force march in the stadium to Salute Governor Huntsman. I was overwhelmed with emotion as they announced each unit and many of the units are deployed. The unit of Joe's brother, Jared, was announced and I couldn't help but fight the tears. They had an award ceremony and they had a few soldiers that were recognized and their wife's accepted the awards in their behalf because they are deployed right now. They expressed their love and thanked them for their support. They explained what a burden it puts on the families and how the soldier's are willing to sacrifice their own lives for our freedom. I was very emotional as to the fact that it will one day be Joe's turn. I can't even imagine how I will handle this. Thanks Jared, Ben and Uncle Mark and Joe's cousin's who are over their fighting for our freedom. Also many thanks to the rest of the Soldier's who are over there too.

My New Look!

The Before Shot!
Tada the after shot!

Goodbye long hair! I was in need of a change. I have been growing my hair out for years, and I was getting so sick of it. Mostly the constant headaches and feeling like I had a ten pound weight on the back of my head. I had my cute friend Cheree cut it off. I was a little nervous right before she made the big cut. My heart was pounding. Cheree cut 8 inches off! wow! I didn't realize it was that long. I also went with some chuncky carmel highlights. It feels so nice to have short hair. Thanks Cheree.
